Mori Wagyu
A rare opportunity to experience authentic Japanese Wagyu in South Florida, paired with a curated selection of fine wines of Warren Whiskey Kitchen.
About This Event
Shin En Wagyu hosted an exclusive Japanese Wagyu tasting evening at Warren Whiskey Kitchen in Delray Beach, featuring Mori Wagyu — a distinguished Japanese Wagyu producer known for exceptional marbling and the refined flavor profile that only Japan's most dedicated breeding and feeding programs can produce.
The Experience
Guests were guided through a multi-course tasting designed to highlight the complexity of Japanese Wagyu at its finest. Each cut was prepared to showcase the extraordinary intramuscular fat, the delicate umami, and the melt-in-the-mouth texture that separates authentic Japanese Wagyu from all other beef in the world. Three wines — a Galician Mencía, a Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon — were selected to accompany the tasting, each engaging the BMS 10+ marbling from a different angle and revealing the full range of flavor that authentic Japanese Wagyu is capable of expressing.
What Was Featured
The evening centered on Mori Wagyu cuts including ribeye, striploin, and tenderloin — all at BMS 10 and above — prepared and served: precise, minimal, and focused entirely on the quality of the beef.
The Venue
Warren Whiskey Kitchen in Delray Beach offered an intimate, sophisticated setting that complemented the premium nature of the tasting. The combination of Japanese Wagyu and a thoughtfully curated three-wine made for a uniquely South Florida evening.
